Unlike in science whereby the hidden facts to approach the world are exposed through laboratory research (Aziz, 2017); in social science, the same is exposed through either quality, quantity or action research among others (Mahesh and Neena, 2011).
Kole Intellectual Forum is one of the 32 nonprofit organizations representing 32 randomly selected districts out 134 districts in Uganda; those are participating in UWEZO’s program of Twaweza East Africa - who is also a nonprofit organization that works in 3 countries of East Africa: Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya, through its program UWEZO, conducting research on the learning process of children aged from 6 to 16 years; using the research question: Are our children learning? This same research question has been asked in Uganda for the last 9 year; and after disseminating the findings, the findings have generated a lot of debates and reactions among educational stakeholders throughout the country.
In the same way, in 2018, Kole Intellectual Forum on the behalf of its partner’s organization (Twaweza East Africa) conducted a social science quantity research in the same research question; although, the study took the former sometimes to analyze and interpret information gathered; we at the organization (Kole Intellectual Forum) are grateful to reveal that by 4th to 6th December, 2019, our organizational District Coordinator was among those invited and attended training for launching of the results of the research conducted in the year 2018 at Kole district. The date of the luanch will be communicated to the educational stakeholders any time this Dec 2019.
Given that: knowledge is power, Kole Intellectual is confident that: they will, through their partner's organization Twaweza East Africa research result; when luanch, they will empower the communities of Kole district to address their education problems as well as creating a difference in their project on GlobalGiving page link to: http://goto,gg/31562
