United Against COVID19

The Potato Harvest
The Potato Harvest

The Angel Projects has been busy over the past months in Uganda and the Philippines. The Uganda team has been traveling from village to village installing handwashing stations as well as training others on how to build them. Justus, our General Manager, has trained a great team to travel to multiple villages to install handwashing stations as well as educating the people on COVID 19 and the importance of handwashing.

Multiple tippy taps (handwashing stations) are installed in different trading centers through the Kisoro District in Uganda and at the junction where people travel from Kisoro and heading to Nombe. These tippy taps are at the centers and junctions to show others how to build one as well as a being fully functional hand washing stations.

As of today Kashija village, Musezero village, Kafuga village, Rushaga village, Kashasha village and Nombe village have multiple handwashing stations to help the fight against COVID19.

Every shop in the larger villages must have a hand washing station at their entrance and the district health inspector has helped us at The Angel Projects Uganda implement this.

The good news is that the new farm we started in Nombe last December has yielded a tremendous harvest that will help provide for the families of this village.

In the Philippines, The Angel Projects are working with our angel Darnalie Orcino and her family who have shopped for food relief for many people who have lost income due to the COVID19 quarantine.

They worked hard shopping and creating nutritional packages for many of the people who do not have any food or money to get any. The team were able to deliver to over 25 families. We are hoping to supply to feed more in the next week.
