Because of your generosity, the Moses Welfare Foundation continues to fight one of Pakistan’s most pressing health challenges—hepatitis B & C. Your compassion is saving lives, restoring dignity, and helping us build a healthier future for communities that have long been neglected.

A Historical Perspective

Since its founding in 1948, the World Health Organization (WHO) has led the global effort to protect public health. In 2016, the WHO declared hepatitis a major global threat and called on nations to work toward eliminating the disease by 2030. 

Pakistan faces one of the highest burdens of hepatitis in the world. Millions live in rural villages without access to doctors, medicines, or clean water. Historically, brick kiln workers and daily-wage families have been trapped in cycles of poverty and illness, with no path to diagnosis or treatment. Without urgent intervention, these communities risk becoming lost generations.

Project Progress

Thanks to your support, our foundation is aligning with WHO’s vision—bringing healthcare to the very heart of Pakistan’s forgotten villages. In the last quarter alone, you helped us: 

• Screen 1,200 people for hepatitis B & C
• Provide treatment and medicines to 460 patients
• Deliver 300 food packs to families to support recovery
• Conduct awareness sessions to teach prevention and early care 

Impact Story

At one of our medical camps, we met Shazia, a 32-year-old mother of three. For months, she battled weakness and pain, fearing she would not live to raise her children. With your help, she was screened, diagnosed, and placed on free treatment. She told us:
“I thought I was forgotten. Now I have hope for my life and my children’s future.”

Thanks to your generosity, the Moses Welfare Foundation is creating measurable change in communities that were once forgotten:

• Lives Saved: Over 1,200 individuals screened, with 460 patients placed on treatment, reducing the risk of liver failure and early death.
