Our organization is continuing to work towards our goal in the following ways:
- 01.10.2014 - 31.12.2014: We are continuing to work with professionals such as psychologists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists to further our initiatives for 46 physically and developmentally disabled children 4 times a week. Our pottery workshop divides these 46 disabled children with 25 children who lead more normal lifestyles. Furthermore, we provided lessons where all youths had an opportunity to learn about how to live a healthy lifestyle.
- 10.09.2014 - 28.12.2014: We conducted English and Russian language courses 5 days a week for youth between the ages of 8 and 21.
- 03.12.2014: we provided gifts to our organization’s 46 registered disabled children and other young people.
- 27.12.2014: During Christmas and New Year time our organization held a big celebration. We had a Christmas tree, people portraying the characters of Santa Claus and his granddaughter the Snow Maiden, and a wonderful concert and dance where 5 surrounding communities and villages came with over 500 children in attendence.
- 28.12.2014 - 30.12.2014: Finally, we helped 250 socially disadvantaged families and families who have children with disabilities by providing hefty food packages for the holidays.

HELP CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
By Gayane Grigoryan | Project leader

Our organization implemented projects for children with disabilities from ages 4 to 16 as well as adults 35 years old. We helped to provide services from psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists for our beneficiaries. We also provided pottery classes as suggested by our psychologist in order to provide an outlet to relax their anxieties. This also gives the opportunity for them to learn new skills and to sell their works of art for a profit on specially appointed days with other organizations. These classes were held 4 times a week for 6 hours.
Since we needed materials for our projects; we obtained oils, medicines, and lubricants for our physiotherapist in order to give massages to help our beneficiaries with physical disabilities. For our speech therapist we obtained toys such as rings, pyramids, stuffed animals, puppets and letter blocks to benefit the children who are developmentally disabled. For our psychologist we obtained bricks, pottery tools, gypsum, acrylic paints, and color pencils to make art with. We bought two wheelchairs and gave them to two children from vulnerable families.
