We are very excited to share with you the progress of our edu-library project.
Our first library went out a few weeks ago, to a small school near to our offices, and it was amazing to see this library in action inside a classroom.
Our staff were able to spend a morning in the class and facilitate activities from the library, and the children were so excited and receptive the different tasks.
These activities in the shelf include:
- Play dough
- Fine motors activities like threading
- Books
- Colouring in and drawing
- Wooden blocks
- and Lego among others
The aim of these edu-libraries is to provide educational resources to children that might otherwise not have access to these kinds of resources.
To date, we have done 3 edu-libraries and we are so excited for more to come in the new year.
