Here at Happy Africa Foundation we have been busy continuing with fundraising for the new classroom block.
A local Zambian school, Acacia International, in Livingstone has been holding various fundraisers for Zambezi Sawmills Community School, including a 5km fun run. This is as part of Acacia's social responsibility programme that sees their children giving back to the community. So far they have raised $740, which is amazing. Including the generous individual donations through Global Giving our total fundraising has amounted to $2056. To start building the substructure we are needing $3600, so we are over 50% of the way which is exciting.
Thank you to all our generous donors!
