Inter Care supports vulnerable patients in Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania by providing free access to donated medical supplies. Since 1974, the charity has delivered £19.5 million in aid. In the last financial year, we have helped treat over 73,000 patients and successfully distributed 1 million medical supplies - all completed with a small staff and 40 volunteers across the UK. The health units we support are mission-based and are mainly operated by Catholic Sisters and the Priesthood. Many of the individuals we support, some of whom we have personally met, are currently being cared for at our partner health units. Many of the individuals we support, some of whom we have personally met, are currently being cared for at our partner health units. They may be fighting cancer, dealing with severe disabilities, or suffering from illnesses that leave them bedridden. Moreover, numerous patients' families experience financial difficulties and are unable to provide support for their loved ones in the hospital, which is where Inter Care plays a crucial role. Thanks to Inter Care's donations of medical supplies, patients in long-term care can receive treatment at no cost.
