As summer draws to a close and a new school year begins, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all our generous donors who have supported The ABC Breakfast Program. Your contributions have made a meaningful difference, and we’re excited to highlight the positive changes your support has brought to the Abaco community.
In September of last year, we launched the third year of our breakfast program at Cooper’s Town Primary School, where we’ve been serving nourishing meals to 177 children twice a week. Our menu features locally sourced produce and farm-fresh eggs from a generous local farmer, and offering a variety of meals such as sausage and grits, fruit, and pancakes.
Many families in Abaco continue to face challenges in providing enough food due to the ongoing effects of the global pandemic and the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian. A healthy breakfast is crucial for academic success and overall well-being. Our mission is to ensure that every child receives a nutritious start to their school day throughout the year.
By supporting The ABC Breakfast Program, you help us transform lives and create lasting change. Let’s give these children the chance to start each day with a healthy meal, providing them with the foundation they need to reach their full potential.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerley,
Abaco Strong
