RSKS India Family Wishes a Happy New Year 2024....

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan completed it 31 Years of strong journey this year. The years of dedicated work by RSKS team and the continuous support of Valuable DONORS like YOU have enabled us to reach this far and we do strive for your everlasting support on our impactful work.

Last year when we completed our 30 strong years, we reached our Goal of providing graceful life, better livelihood, self-reliance, education and better health to 2,00,000 women and girls and now we have set up a New Goal to reach 10,00,000 (1 Million) Women and Girls by 2030 while following the Sustainable Development Goals. We are working hard to achieve this goal and from the last year till now we are working on to put SMILES on the face of the rural, nomadic and marginalized communities we are serving. Throughout the last year, we have achieved the following milestones in each of our Focus Areas while following our moto which is “May All Live Happily”.

Women Empowerment- Through the various initiatives ranging from Self Help Group to Her voice: Stop violence against women, RSKS India was able to reach around 11,200 rural and marginalized women, girls, children etc.

Education- Pathshala Schools and the Education for Every Girls project of RSKS India has enabled us to benefit around around 2,800 rural intelligent school girls.

Sustainable Livelihood- Through the different Vocational Educational Skill Schools, RSKS India was able to provide sewing skills, beautician skills, garment making skills to around 175 rural and marginalized young women and girls.

Disability- Through the Empowering People Living With the Disabilities Project of RSKS India, a total of around 450 People living with disabilities and children living with disabilities and their families were provided support in the sectors of Health, Education, livelihood, Social and Empowerment.

Child Rights & Welfare- Through the Make A Wish project of RSKS India, around 750 slum and street children got to wear new jackets, shirts, sweaters, lehnga, salwar suit, tshirts, tracksuits, woolen gloves, woolen caps etc and also got knowledge to get enrolled into the schools and they were able to celebrate festivals like Christmas, Diwali, Holi etc like the children in urban areas does.

Disaster Recovery & Relief- After the covid pandemic, through the Together We Can 3.0 against the Covid-19 project of RSKS India, around 1025 families got Ration/Grocery Kit Relief from RSKS India which means 4150 individuals got food security. Along with this, 350 Marginal farmers also got support of Fertilizers, Seeds and farming materials for their livelihood support.

Agriculture & livestock- Through various initiatives in the agriculture promotion and adoption, RSKS India was able to benefit around 1,475 rural school children, marginal farmers, and women farmers by educating them on the topics of kitchen garden, modern agriculture techniques, cattle farming etc and also providing them the necessary materials for kitchen garden.

Environment & Sanitation- Under this focus area, around 1650 fruitful and shady trees, 1,000 seed pens, 300 Sparrow Bird Houses and Bird Feeders were planted, given and installed which benefitted around 1575 school children & teachers, rural people, marginal farmers, women farmers, bird lovers etc.

Social Campaign- Every Year we celebrate the social days with the communities we serve to aware them about the cause and meaning of those social days, this year we were able to reach around 5800 people which included slum and street children and their parents, rural people, RSKS trainees, Pathshala School girl children etc.

Health- RSKS India strives for better health of the society and is working on that from a long time, throughout the last year, RSKS India was able to benefit 4850 slum and street women, girls, Tuberculosis patients, Rural women and girls, kindergarten children etc through working on their habit change and providing them nutrition or hygiene relief.

All of this was possible only through the valuable support of GENEROUS Donors like YOU. With your support we will be surely working towards our goal with firm determination and we surely think and work on Gandhian Philosophy that “A Small body of DETERMINED SPIRITS fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the COURSE OF HISTORY.”

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS), over the past 31 years, has evolved into a recognized, robust, and resilient organization dedicated to community development and this is the reason why every year we get so many interns and volunteers who are ready to work with us for the causes we are working on to create an impactful journey with us. This year too, we got 35 Interns and around 30 volunteers from all around the world. These volunteers and interns were national and international and were from the background of Masters in Social work, Finance, MBA, Employees of Multi National Companies, etc. They all work with RSKS India to fulfill their responsibility towards the society and to connect to the communities we serve at the ground level by doing on field volunteership or internship or to benefit those communities by working on remote for them.

The participants actively engaged in various RSKS projects, including initiatives focused on girls' education, child rights and welfare, health, women empowerment, and sustainable livelihood. This on-field work allowed them to connect directly with the communities RSKS serves, fostering a deep understanding of grassroots challenges and solutions. Simultaneously, remote contributions showcased a commitment to leveraging technology for social impact. Interns and volunteers undertook tasks such as grant writing, social media promotion, graphics editing, and video creation, demonstrating their adaptability and versatility in supporting RSKS's mission.

The interns and volunteers expressed deep appreciation for RSKS's impactful initiatives. Inspired by the organization's commitment to societal well-being, these individuals actively adopted and participated in various projects. The hands-on experience not only contributed to the interns' and volunteers' personal and professional growth but also strengthened RSKS's reach and impact. The engagement of these individuals in RSKS's projects is seen as a catalyst for future societal sensitization. As they return to their respective spheres, these interns and volunteers carry the lessons learned and experiences gained with them, fostering a greater sense of responsibility towards society. The hope is that their time with RSKS serves as a transformative journey, inspiring ongoing commitment to social causes.
