Hello-
This week is a BIG week! Atlas Corps Class 37 started Orientation on October 1. And, we launched our October #GivingToday campaign - donations matched $1 for $1 for the first $20,000 raised!
Thank you! Thank you for supporting Atlas Corps, believing in our Fellows, and celebrating diversity and inclusion. Because of your support, we are now a community of 750 professionals from 95 countries who have served at more than 250 Host Organizations. Awesome!
We invite you to join us in celebrating these milestones! On October 10, we invite you to the Atlas Corps Fall Celebration in Washington, DC! We will welcome Classes 36 and 37 and honor Fellows in Classes 34 and 35 as they complete their service in the United States.
Here is a highlight from one of our newest Fellows, Chilochibi (Zambia, Class 36, Host: Solstice):
I always dared to challenge myself to do something spontaneous, to learn something new or to belong to some community who share my ideologies. Now, from my background of Economics and Public Health, I am focused on the environment with my service at Solstice, a renewable energy organization. I had always been an advocate for saving the environment, but I had never been directly involved in the field. It was time for me to test the depth of the water with both feet. So, I said yes to this opportunity!
Yes! We love that answer!
Chilochibi said “Yes!” and is now addressing climate issues while also enhancing his abilities as a social change leader. When you said “Yes!” to supporting Atlas Corps, you invested in Chilochibi and this dynamic community of leaders. Thank you!
Thank you for making this big week even better!
Cheers-
Abby
P.S. Have you thought about #GivingToday? Remember donations to Atlas Corps in October will be matched! Say YES! and multiply your impact today!
