Creating Safe, Inclusive Schools for All Kids
By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader
Every gift to this project is an investment in the future of Makurdi’s children. By supporting teacher training, student empowerment, and peer-led initiatives, you help create a school system where every child is safe, included, and valued.
The impact doesn’t end when students graduate. Safer schools create emotionally healthy, socially responsible citizens who can break cycles of violence and drive community progress. With every teacher trained and every student empowered, your legacy grows.
Join us in building a brighter future—one where every school in Makurdi is a place of learning, safety, and hope. Together, we can ensure that generations of children have the opportunity to thrive.

Beyond the Classroom: Preparing Youth for Life
By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader
School safety isn’t just about preventing harm—it’s about equipping youth for the challenges of life. Bullying, GBV, and trauma can derail futures, but resilience, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence can set students on a path to success.
Our project integrates life skills development into every aspect of school life. Students learn to manage stress, resolve disputes peacefully, and build supportive friendships. Teachers reinforce these lessons, creating classrooms where empathy and respect are as valued as academic achievement.
Peer-support clubs provide ongoing practice and reinforcement, preparing students not just for graduation, but for the complexities of adult life.
Your support ensures Makurdi’s youth are equipped for whatever lies ahead—confident, resilient, and ready to lead positive change in their communities.

Stigma to Strength: Destigmatizing Mental Health
By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader
Stigma is one of the biggest barriers to seeking help for mental health challenges, especially for victims of bullying and GBV. According to the World Health Organization, fewer than one in five Nigerian adolescents with mental health issues receive any kind of support.
Our project addresses this head-on by integrating mental health education into school life. Through awareness campaigns, peer clubs, and teacher training, we normalize conversations about emotional wellbeing and encourage students to seek help without shame.
We also provide direct psychosocial support to 150 at-risk students, ensuring every child has access to care without fear of judgment. By transforming how mental health is viewed, we empower students to support themselves and each other.
Your donation helps break the silence and build a school culture where strength is found in seeking help, not hiding pain. Join us in turning stigma into strength for Makurdi’s youth.
