2023 has seen tremendous progress for the building of USAP Community School as we moved forward with our target to move onto the permanent campus in Marondera, Zimbabwe in 2024. We are proud of the progress we have made as our central campus has begun to take shape.

Since they began brickwork in January 2023, the construction crew has made significant headway. There are 17 buildings currently under construction on the main campus broken down as follows : a classroom block of three classrooms, the main dining hall, two science labs, six student residences and eight staff residences. Most buildings are now at slab level and are in the process of being backfilled and contained for services. The most advanced building is the classroom block which has reached lintel level.

We continue with our capital campaign to fundraise to complete Phase One of our permanent campus as we aim to begin 2024 with our next class on our own intentionally-built and sustainable campus. Many thanks to  each and every one of you for your continued support that is making it possible for us to reach this goal.

In the meantime, our students are holding up their part of the bargain and remain determined and hard working as school continues with our third and fourth cohorts on our rented campus in Goromonzi. . Eighteen students from the USAP Community School have been awarded full scholarshios worth over US$5,500,500 to study at top U.S. colleges and universities starting in August 2023. We have attached the photo showing the 16 universities our students will be attending.  Others are waiting to hear from Mastercard Scholarship Programs at universities in Ghana, Kenya and Rwanda.
