Project Report | Apr 25, 2021
Glad to be back on campus for Term 1!

By Eve | Development Manager

We are physically back on our temporary campus and have just completed the first month of our first term! We welcomed our second cohort of 24 students who were forced to compete their orientation and a few weeks of classes online due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. We now have a total of 69 students at our beautiful but cramped campus with the initial class of 45 on course to completing their second year of A level studies.

This past month has been exciting as our first cohort was taking week-long subject revision classes in preparation for their AS exams in May. In the meantime, the second cohort concentrated on humanities, reasoning and research method curriculum.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support for our unique school. We continue to raise funds to reach our goals of building our permanent campus and sustaining the costs of our operations, which we vigorously keep as low as possible. We are looking forward to commencing construction at our permanent location  in mid-2021 and a final move there in 2022.. Together we are transforming lives, assisting young people without means but with so much talent and determination to grow and seize opportunities that will allow them to reach their potential. We cannot thank you enough!

For more on the progress of the school, check out our 2020 Annual Report

Wishing you all the best from all of us at Education Matters and the USAP Community School
