Most of the Sundarbans coastal region of Bangladesh is also non electrified and living in dark at night due to lack of electricity and increased kerosene price. Due to their poverty, parents can hardly purchase Kerosene for their children’s education purpose. As a result, school students of the coastal areas can’t continue their study at night for lack of electricity.
Considering the situation, Bangladesh Environment and Development Society is trying to raise fund from the donors for this purpose using GlobalGiving platform. So far we have raised 1,139$ from twenty five donations and expect to draw the donors kind attention and get the total amount 15000$ for this project very soon. It is our expectation that by 2021 we will be able to raise the total fund for this project. We have been communicating with the local people regularly about the progress of our project.
We would like to thank all our donors for their contribution and faith for us. It is also our cordial request to all our donors to start monthly recurring donation from now. For recurring donation, please find the link below;
