Majority of Sundarbans coastal people remains at dark at night due to the shortage of electricity. Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) has been trying to reduce the sufferings of the coastal people by supporting solar lamps. BEDS is trying to get fund from the donors because, without their help it is impossible to support the beneficiaries. We have already got two donations (66 $) from two donors and hope to get the total amount 12987 $ for this project.
Students said, `` There is no electricity in our area. We are very poor so, my family can’t afford to buy Kerosene every day. This is why I can’t read at night which hampers my study. I want to read more. I pray to all, please help me and give me a solar lamp.’’
We have shared the news with the local community that two honorable donors have already supported us and we found the glittering eyes of the hopeful people.
