Winter is arriving in Ahmedabad and this is a difficult season for strays to survive. Every winter strays suffer from various viral infections. Without proper shelter, food, and care they often fall sick severely and succumb to death. Through our ‘Save Homeless Abandoned cows in central Gujarat’ project, we treat a total of 23 injured cows and calves in our facility. Some of the injuries were recoverable and some of them are in serious condition. Our team of doctors worked hard to relieve their pain with proper medication and treatment. Once they regained their health, we have shifted them to a large species shelter for their betterment. Out of 23 cows we have successfully rehabilitated 19 cows to their natural habitat and 4 cows still under treatment.

Here is a treatment summary of our ‘Save Homeless Cows in Gujarat’ project for September’21.
