The Centre was closed from 16th March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and only opened recently (01.06.2020).
During the lockdown, pedagogues were contacting the patients’ parents/guardians by telephone to guide them in their programs of development of the performances at their homes.
Most of the salaries of the amazing team of Tony Hawks Centre were paid.
Many families were struggling during the lockdown without any income to survive. Working remotely the centre managed to deliver food parcels for vulnerable families. The families and children were grateful for the kindness they have received.
At the moment the Centre is open with a small number of children attending.
The consultations continue and have proven very helpful for parents and carers.
The pool for hydrotherapy will remain closed.
The children are very happy to be back at the Centre.
Thanks to your kind support we are able to support vulnerable children during difficult times and provide free therapies.
