Donate Food for 30 Poor Old Age People in India

Thank you for all your kind generous support for the deprived elderly persons through esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

The elderly persons are belongs to different slums of Kurnool Town. The age group of the older persons are 60 years to 90 years. 30 Destitute Older Women are getting nutritious food from the SERUDS Midday Meal day care center. Some of them stopped begging on the streets after coming to the SERUDS centre. In the Center the Older people are getting Nutritious Food inclues, steamed cooked rice, taar dhal, sambhar, vegitable curry, papad, curd, seasonal pickle, etc 

The Elderly Women are having sufficient food and improving the health standards. Many of the Old age Persons have been recovered from ill-health. They have stopped taking the medicines due to nutritious food getting from SERUDS. They expressed sincere gratitude towards kind gesture. We always remember you and your family in our daily prayers. With out your kind generous support it is very difficult for us to serve the destitute and needy.

Greetings from SERUDS

Thank you for all your Kind generous support for the destitute elderly people through esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

Since 2009 we are providing nutritious meals to the 30 destitute elderly people. These elderly persons are regularly identifying by our volunteers, community leaders, staff. We bring them at one place and providing every day nutritious lunch for the poor old age persons. We are maintaining hygeinic kitchen to prepare the hot food, cutting vegetables. The kitchen consisting of Gas Cylinders, Rice Cooker, Pressure cooker for Dal preparation, Required Utensils, Fans, Electrical Fittings, etc. Every day 30 old age persons will come in the afternoon and they will get nutritious lunch from SERUDS meals center. The meal includes, Steamed Cooked Rice, Dhal, Vegetable curry, Seasonal Pickle, Seasonal Fruit, Curd, Rasam, Chutney, etc. With this nutritious lunch they are able to survive at least few more years. 

Some of existing beneficiaries passed away due to ill-health and age concern. In their places new old age persons are joining and getting regular benefits from SERUDS midday meals center. Our main aim is to stop the begging by the elderly people and maintain dignity among them. With this noble initiative some of the older people have been stopped their begging and coming regularly SERUDS meals center. 

Without your kind generous support it is very difficult for us to serve these destitute elderly persons.
