Donate Food for 30 Poor Old Age People in India

 We really appreciate your contribution made via the GlobalGiving Foundation USA to our nonprofit organization.

For the past 14 years, we have been providing a healthy noon meal to elderly people in need by combining your prompt charitable gifts with our daily meals. In order to provide the elderly women with a hygienic supper, we created an elegantly maintained kitchen in our care facility. The sons and daughters moved away from their parents' house to work as daily wage laborers wherever the mason assigned them to work on building sites. The elderly are no longer able to work due to health issues, therefore they are forced to live at home alone. Some of them are even childless and yet live in thatched cottages. Not all of the elderly are hurting either.

 As part of our ongoing, daily fieldwork, we have identified thirty elderly parents in the Budhavarapeta slum, close to the graveyard in Kurnool, who are between the ages of 60 and 90. We are providing these parents with wholesome meals every day, which include steam-cooked rice, dhal, sambar, curd or buttermilk, seasonal pickles, and fruits. We frequently give clothing items such as blouses and sarees. We recently observed Indian holidays in the same manner as we usually do, spreading joy among all the elderly who are impoverished. Parents who are elderly are content and lead dignified lives. Their health has improved as a result of our healthy meal program.

Thanks for all your great support and sponsorship by providing nutritious meals for the destitute elderly persons through GlobalGiving, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

14years ago we have started this noble cause and serving unfortunate elderly persons by donating every day nutritious midday meals for their better health. We have been established the old age care center with gracefully maintained kitchen to serve the sanitized meal for the old age women. The reason behind starting this initiative is massive floods occurred in Kurnool the major households were repositioned to some other metropolitan cities, towns and states of AP, Karnataka & Telangana in 2009. The sons and daughters left their parents at home and migrated to work as daily wage labourers where ever the work allots by mason at construction sites. At this old age the elderly persons are not able to work as their health not permits at all anymore and living at home itself idle and some of them are not having children. So they are hope on us and our charity for feeding them in time.

We have identified 35 old age women age group of 60 to 90 years in the slum of Budhavarapeta, near grave yard, Kurnool and feeding them with nutritious meals every day that meal includes steam cooked rice, dhal, sambar, curd / buttermilk, seasonal pickle, fruits. Regularly we donate clothes like sarees, towels, bedsheets, etc. Recently we have celebrated Ugadi Festival on 22.03.2023, Ugadi festival and Sriramanavami and Easter Festivals as we regularly celebrate and we make happiness among all the poor senior citizens. Old age women are very happy and living with dignity. With this special meal their health has been improved and having hope on their remaining life.
