Donate Food for 30 Poor Old Age People in India

First of all thank you very much recognizing our charity as a most Effective Nonprofit Organization for the year 2019 by GlobalGiving Foundation USA.

Since 2019, we have been serving unfortunate elderly persons by donating every day nutritious midday meal with your timely donations to charity. We have been established the old age care center with gracefully maintained kitchen to serve the sanitized meal for the old age women. When the massive floods occurred in Kurnool the major households were repositioned to some other metropolitan cities, towns and states of AP, Karnataka & Telangana. The sons and daughters left their parents at home and migrated to work as daily wage labourers where ever the work allots by mason at construction sites. At this old age the elderly persons are not able to work as their health not permits at all anymore and living at home itself idle and some of them are not having children & they are living thatched homes.

As we do our regular programs we have identified these 30 older parents age group of 60 to 90 years in the slum of Budhavarapeta, near grave yard, Kurnool and donating nutritious meals for the hapless old age women every day that meal includes steam cooked rice, dhal, sambar, curd / buttermilk, seasonal pickle, fruits. Regularly we donate clothes like sarees, blouses, etc. Recently we have celebrated Easter Festival on 21.04.2019, Ugadi festival and Sriramanavami Festival as we regularly celebrate and we make happiness among all the poor senior citizens. Elderly parents are very happy and living with dignity. With this nutritious meal program their health has been improved a lot.

Thank you very much for your kind generous support for the unfortunate elderly persons through esteemed 501c3 tax deductible organization GlobalGiving USA.

This old age care center established in the year of 2009, when the massive floods occurred in Kurnool the major households were relocated to some other towns, cities, states. At that time the sons & daughters left their parents at the home and migrated to work as daily wage labourers where ever the work allots by mason. Due to age concern the older people are not able to work anymore and staying back at the home itself and many of them are not at all having houses they are homeless.

At this critical juncture as part of our regular programs we have identified these 30 older parents age group of 60 to 90 years in the urban slum in Budhavarapeta, near grave yard and providing midday meal – nutritious food includes, Steam cooked Sona Masoori Rice, Taar Dhal, Sambar, Traditional sweet, Curd, Pickle, Seasonal Fruits and occasionally when festival comes in specific month we usually provide Sarees to these older people. New dresses provides once in a quarterly. We are going to do Christmas celebrations at our with old age people in our center, as we do make happiness among all the elderly parents in every festival irrespective of caste, creed, religion. We always believe every human being is equal. Elderly parents are very happy and living with dignity.
