Salma Talks about the Importance of Mentoring Sessions

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Girls' mentoring sessions play a crucial role in empowering girls, promoting education, fostering skill development, providing career guidance, enhancing health and well-being, offering social support, and creating positive community impact.

Salma expresses the value of the girls' mentoring sessions in her experience.

Hi, my name is Salma, and I am a beneficiary of Develop Africa Sierra Leone. Today I’m here to talk about the importance of the girls’ mentoring sessions

The girls’ mentoring sessions are helping us a lot because it’s giving us experiences about life, and how we can go about it and gives us the formula to go through every difficulty in life. There are so many things that we don't know that we learned from our guest speakers and so many things they don't know that they learned from us.

So all I want to say is that the girls' mentoring sessions are a great help.

Your support helps make these mentoring sessions possible as well as supporting girls' education. Educated and confident girls are more likely to become leaders and changemakers.

You are truly making a difference with every dollar you donate. If you are not yet a recurring donor and would like to make a greater impact you can set up a recurring donation here.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

With great appreciation,

Amy and the Develop Africa team
