40 Graduate from Computer Training

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Computer Graduates

On February 29, 2024, the Develop Africa Sierra Leone (DASL) Computer Lab hosted a graduation ceremony. This event marked a significant milestone for 40 young individuals who completed the Microsoft Office and Computer Hardware and Networking training programs.

Among the graduates, 32 were present at the ceremony to receive their certificates in person.  Each graduate was awarded a certificate of completion, recognizing their proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer hardware and networking.

Two former students of the school were invited to share their success stories. Their testimonials highlighted the transformative impact of the computer training program, reinforcing the importance of equipping young individuals with essential computer skills in today's tech-driven world.

The ceremony was not only a celebration of academic accomplishment but also an acknowledgment of the dedication and hard work demonstrated by both students and instructors. One parent expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management and staff of Develop Africa for their outstanding commitment to empowering youth through education.

As we celebrate their achievements, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors and supporters for their unwavering commitment to the education and empowerment of youth in Sierra Leone.

For those who haven't had the opportunity to contribute yet, we warmly welcome your support. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of these future leaders of Sierra Leone.
