Seventy-Four Bright Minds Navigating the Digital Frontier

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Presently, the Develop Africa Sierra Leone (DASL) Computer Lab has seventy-four students enrolled in computer classes. The classes operate across three shifts—one in the morning and two in the afternoon—spanning from Monday to Friday.

The computer training covers a curriculum that includes Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as Hardware and Networking. Each class is structured to ensure that every student has access to an individual computer, with class timings and days varying based on the respective groups.

Pictured above is one of the current classes in the computer lab; you can see more photos in this photo album of the current computer classes here.

We extend our sincere gratitude for your consistent support in shaping the future leaders of Sierra Leone. Thanks to your contributions, more young individuals are gaining essential computer skills crucial for success in today's technology-driven world.

For those who haven't yet opted for a recurring donation, we warmly welcome your continued support. Additionally, sharing this project with your network on social media; feel free to use the provided text or create your own message.
