The 2nd STEM Session was hosted by the Develop Africa Sierra Leone (DASL) team over the summer, utilizing the engaging Legos Mindstorms sets. This innovative program aims to train our school-going beneficiaries in building Lego robots, fostering their interest and passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and robotics.
Hassan and Ibrahim, two enthusiastic participants in the Lego program, shared their project named "Tricky" in this video saying,"Hello my name is Hassan and this is my colleague, Ibrahim, we were part of the Lego program, our project is to make a robot called Tricky and we need to show you how it works. I want to tell Develop Africa thank you for this wonderful program, we really appreciate you guys. Thank you!"
Your support has made programs like the Legos Mindstorms STEM Session possible, providing hands-on learning experiences that not only captivate the imagination of these young minds but also lay the foundation for future leaders in Sierra Leone. The impact of your generosity is tangible in the projects, like Tricky, that emerge from these sessions.
We extend our sincere gratitude for your ongoing support, which will enable us to conduct more STEM sessions, provide mentorship, and offer essential educational resources. If you haven't already, we warmly welcome your continued support through a recurring donation. Additionally, we encourage you to share this project with your contacts, inviting them to join us in supporting this valuable initiative.
