Dear Donors and Supporters,
May this report from the field finds you well. We are glad to send you our KEMBALI Project report.
Starting from September, YKIP started our scholarship distribution to the children in our KEMBALI Scholarship program. This scholarship distribution is for the first quarter of the academic year of 2021-2022 that started in July 2021. However, due to the increasing cases of Covid-19, the government of Indonesia imposed the level 4 restriction where all activities except the substantial ones are permitted to be conducted. YKIP had to postpone the distribution that was planned in August in the beginning, but then we need to wait until the restriction was relaxed into level 3.
It was a big relief when the government relaxed the restriction. YKIP then scheduled the scholarship distribution in 13 areas of YKIP KEMBALI project. Started by paying the school fees for the students in Denpasar, Badung, and Karangasem, YKIP continued the program by the distribution of school supplies, pocket money, and vitamins for the elementary school students.
YKIP reached 482 students in the KEMBALI program and finished the last distribution of the scholarship in the northern part of Bali, Tejakula. We did the distribution with very strict health protocols, were wearing a face mask, washing hands before entering the venue, and keep the distance are mandatory. The mask were only taken off when YKIP took their picture with the parent.
It was a really happy moment when we see the students and see their bright eyes representing their smiles under the masks when they receive the school supplies.
You can learn more about the donation distribution for the students under KEMBALI program here.
Thank you very much for your kind support of this program so that we could continue supporting these children in this uncertain condition. Your support is highly appreciated.
Stay safe and healthy,
YKIP Team
