Contemplating the support of the Ukrainian Chernivu Citizen Hospital...

<Contemplating the support of the Ukrainian Chernivu Citizen Hospital...>

Peacewinds has an office in Kiiwu, Ukraine and is active.

Two Ukrainians are on duty all the time, and multinational staffs from Australia, Macedonia, Pakistan and Japan tour the inside of Ukraine to carry out emergency relief projects.

Unlike the early days of the war, bombing of private facilities and shopping centers takes place. Since the air raid warning is working on time and in an orderly manner, the casualties are not as great compared to other wars. But the Ukrainians are facing a difficult situation any longer. Ukrainians are unable to do anything promising for the future, and everyone is holding out day by day, trembling with anxiety, to the point where they have to redefine what everyday life is.

Peacewinds is looking for ways to support the Chernhiu Civic Hospital. It is realistically difficult to rebuild a completely destroyed hospital. Fortunately, there was a bombardment that only part of the front part was destroyed, and after repairs of the window frames, windows and exterior walls are completed, the Chernivou Civic Hospital is basically operational. It is hot and family summer now, but the cold winter is coming soon. Since the protracted war and the gas supply from Russia will not be smooth, how we plan to visit Korea is one of the most important things for us right now.

Ukraine has a relatively small number of patients per doctor and has excellent medical technology. Although the equipment and administrative system do not leave the former Soviet Union, if proper equipment and new medical technologies are transferred, it has the potential to build a better medical system than any other country. There are more patients suffering from cardiovascular disease than bombardment at Chernivou Citizen Hospital, and the supply of equipment such as catheterization is urgently needed. It costs about 2 billion won to build an intensive care facility. We are working on ways to build an intensive care facility with the most efficient equipment.

War renders most of the civilizations of modern humanity unusable. Those who should not suffer, those who should live, suffer and die.

The situation in children's rehabilitation facilities is even worse. They house the children in wards with open windows and crumbling walls, but offer no programs for rehabilitation. Fortunately, the Chernivou Citizens Hospital is able to accommodate children. If this is the case, children will have to live with disabilities. Equipment to take care of, manpower, and above all, the supply of medicines is a long way off.

By the way, you don't know how lucky we are to have food in Ukraine.
On the one hand, with and without hospitals in the city, it is a very important psychological support for the Ukrainian people during wartime.

If you imagine living in a city without hospitals, there is no city more terrifying than that. We imagine that hospitals during the war will serve as field hospitals to deal with the victims of bullets and bombing, but in reality, timely diagnosis and prescription of non-infectious diseases (NCDs) that ordinary people suffer from, such as high blood pressure and diabetes, in a timely manner. And treatment with medication is also one of the most important things. These days, focusing on this kind of thing saves a lot more people and helps a lot more people these days.

Peacewinds is a field-oriented organization. Rather than relying on conventional wisdom, we are working with the highest priority on what support Ukrainians need the most.

We will do our best to support the operation of medical services in Ukraine, including the Chernivu J Citizen's Hospital, in a form that guarantees minimum human rights.

The war will be prolonged.
We ask for your cooperation so that Peacewinds can continue its field-oriented activities.
