May Updates: Peacebuilding and Livelihoods Project
By Arziki Sawa | Project Adviser
I wish to thank you all for your support and donations to this project, especially since the beginning of 2023.
The psycho-social support and livelihoods aspects of this program are on-going. We are planning a large psycho-social support workshop in the third quarter of 2023 that will bring together 100 girls and women who have been part of this project.
We also want to mention that the cattles are now giving birth after close to 3 years and the girls who own the cattles as part of the Cattle Rearing aspect of this project are happy to see progress in their business.
The CSDEA intends to sustain and scale this project this year. There are 200 grls and women who are currently at various stages of the project. However, our plan is to reach 1000 women with this project. We need additional funding to reach the short term target of this project.
Please feel free to donate and share with your networks.
Best wishes,
Arziki Sawa

The peacebuilding project for girls and women who are survivors of violence from terrorist groups has been making steady progress as we plan intensive trauma healing sessions for October, 2022. We thank you all for your continous and generous donations as we navigate a very difficult financial year for this project. This year has been characterized by uncontrolled inflation that has impacted the project.
We have continued to introduce successful graduates of this project to education and policy processes to bring in their experiences as survivors of conflict.
We will keep you updated as we gradually reach the end of year fundraising season.
