Respectable Friend,!
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan celebrates "DAAN Utsav" every year from 2nd October (Gandhi Jayanti) to 8th October. During this time, we organized several programs as welfare of poor children, women and girl empowerment, educational development, prevention of violence against women, health and sanitary, welfare of mankind. In the series, the organization in addition to "DAAN Utsav", also participate in "Giving Tuesday India" and make efforts with determination for the welfare of poor, deprived, helpless people for which Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan has organized several social welfare programs. The organization dedicates its work to the messenger of peace, the father of nation "Mahatma Gandhi".
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, in the collaboration with, GlobalGiving Foundation, organized "Giving Tuesday week". On the ocassion of "Giving Tuesday", Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan helped the members of 16 Women self-help groups to get loan from bank. The bank sanctioned loan to 166 poor women members of 16 self-help groups and the women started their self-employment units with the amount of micro loan.
All poor women were so glad to get the loan as they were in need of funds to start self-employment and they found it difficult to get their loan applications approved from the bank. Being members of the self-help groups, they got their loan applications approved and the bank sanctioned them micro loan. Now, these women have started their employment as goat rearing, convectionery shop, agriculture, dairy, etc. and becoming self-reliant.
Chameli, one of the members of the self-help groups told us her story that she was in need of finance to buy goat. She applied for loan to the bank, but her application got rejected and she couldn't make her dream to be self-dependent true. After being associated with the self-help group, she again applied for loan through the self-help group and then she got loan from the bank. She bought a goat with the loan amount and started selling its milk which still gets her a good income and now Chameli has become self-reliant.
The support and contribution of GlobalGiving Foundation in the project “Empowering Poor women with sustainable livelihood” is commendable! And the contribution of Donors deserves praise together. Marginalized women, Girl's & Poor Children are being Empowered, Educated, Healthy successfully with the help of the donors!!
