Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, for the uplifment of poor and marginalized women, establishes self-help groups. In these groups, women members get micro-finance at low rate of interest with the support of bank. They utilize the loan amount for economic activities and establish their better livelihood.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan unites the members of self-help groups without any discrimination of poor-rich, caste or religion. Capacity building training programs and many other activities are often organized to improve their living standard. The organization also takes meeting of self-help groups every month where we discuss the work of the members and inform them about government schemes and plans, which become beneficial for them. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan is determined to have impact of its work, which gets us many success stories of the beneficiaries, and one of such stories is given below.........
Reshama is 41 years old woman resides in a remote village of Pisangan block belongs to an extremely poor family. One year ago, Reshama joined “Umang” self-help group. She got a loan at low rate of interest with the support of the group and she bought seeds for her field from the micro-finance amount and sowed them. After some time flowers grown up and she sold them in the market for a good profit. Associating with the self-help group helped Reshama. She started planting flowers in her fields and repayed the loan to the bank. Today, Reshama has become self-reliant for which she thanks Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and the donors.
