Dear Friends,
We are delighted to share another encouraging update from our efforts to end child marriage in rural Uganda.
Throughout the reporting period, project activities focused on empowering girls with knowledge, confidence, and support networks that encourage educational success. Life-skills sessions helped participants understand their rights and develop strategies for overcoming challenges.
Parents and caregivers attended community meetings where they learned about the social and economic benefits of keeping girls in school. These discussions encouraged many families to reconsider traditional practices that contribute to child marriage.
Girls participating in the program continue to demonstrate remarkable resilience. Despite difficult circumstances, many remain committed to their studies and future ambitions.
Local leaders have played a critical role by promoting child protection messages and encouraging community members to report cases of early marriage. Their leadership is strengthening accountability and improving outcomes for vulnerable children.
Schools have reported increased engagement among participating students, reflecting the positive impact of educational and mentorship support.
The growing commitment from communities gives us hope that sustainable change is possible. Together, we are helping girls build brighter futures while strengthening the foundations of child protection.
Thank you for your unwavering support.
