We are thankful to our supporters and prayer partners for the continued support. Eeven before the onset of a global pandemic, deaf children/community were grappling with rapid, disoriented change. The COVID-19 pandemic, with its public health emergency and economic and social crises, has reshaped how development priorities and operations work.
These extraordinary times have brought into focus that human development challenges to our poor country Kenya, and that’s the current situations that needs transformational relationships to address the critical challenges facing the deaf children/ community.
Our team at Kenya Christian School For The Deaf has worked tirelessly to sensitize the deaf community on COVID19 pandemic for them to stay at home, and respond swiftly to prioritize their health and safety.
We are calling the people of goodwill, supporters and prayer partners to continue to continue to provide both financial and emotional support for the COVID19 pandemic. We’ill continue educating the deaf community about key COVID19 hygiene practices and social distancing as a way of saving their lives. We plan to ensure they do not miss out on our educational life skills video conference workshops and other online talks. As well as empower family and community Ambassadors who are deaf to lead deaf persons at this time.
