Dear Beloved Partners,
Welcome once again. We are very grateful for your continued support, it enables us to accomplish some of the pressing needs that require monetary to tackle, as we aim to establish bee keeping asa livelihood project and create a network of agro-consultants to promote improved agricultural practices among rural folks. We have started with two hives with one catcher box.
Beekeeping has small challenges, but it is manageable and pays off in the end. We welcome ideas, suggestions and are always ready to learn and share the knowledge on how to run a bee-keeping business.
KCSD just partnered with Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation of which they've trained KCSD staff on bee keeping and management to enable us start bee keeping and empower our community for self-sustainability, through which we can exchange information and knowledge with others who might need it.
We have been empowered to continue with the training of employability skills to the deaf and vulnerable youth living in Homabay rural. This is an accomplishment of our objectives and goals towards poverty eradication by providing job opportunities where there were none and supporting SDG 2030. Deaf girls, women and the out of school vulnerable youth will be equipped with employability skills through vocational training for self-employment and sustainability.
However, I would like also to appeal to you and your friends to consider supporting our causes/work on a monthly basis to enable us carry out some of the crucial programs for sustainability. I hope you find this partnership valuable and worthwhile.
Please consider telling your friends and families about our KCSD by sharing the link to our GlobalGiving project on social media, or just bring us up in conversation. We’d love to hear the story about why you’ve picked our project, and we think your friends would too.
