Dear Donor,
In times of despair, countless girls fall victim to various forms of abuse—physical, emotional, and sexual. Tragically, some see no way out and take their own lives, crushed by the shame and suffering inflicted upon them by their own communities. This is not merely a statistic; it is a daily reality for many young girls who deserve safety, dignity, and hope.
Today, we are changing that reality. Through the Girls’ Empowerment and Protection Program, we are making a lasting impact—one girl at a time. Every contribution you make translates directly into action. Your support means that one more girl receives counseling, legal aid, and a safe space to heal. It means one more girl stays in school instead of being forced into early marriage. It means one more girl learns her rights and gains the courage to speak up against abuse.
Thanks to donors like you, we have already mobilized a powerful network of community leaders—chiefs, religious heads, teachers, and local authorities—who are now taking a stand to protect girls in their villages and beyond. These leaders attend our training workshops, establish community watch systems, and intervene in cases of abuse before it is too late. They are becoming the first line of defense for the most vulnerable.
But the need remains urgent. We cannot afford to lose another girl to silence and shame. Your generosity fuels this movement. It builds resilience. It saves lives. Every dollar you give is an investment in a future where girls no longer walk in fear, but thrive with confidence and opportunity.
We invite you to partner with us once again. Together, we can ensure that no girl feels abandoned, worthless, or alone. Thank you for your compassion, your leadership, and your unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation of strong, safe, and educated girls.
With deepest gratitude,
F SSIBU MISSION FOUNDATION-UGANDA
