Keep her in school

We wanted to share a story that captures the very essence of your generosity—a story written not in words, but in the quiet moments of one boy's life.

When you see him in his school uniform, you see what we see: a child ready to learn, standing tall with hope in his eyes. But here's the truth you don't know. For this boy, that uniform is more than just a requirement for the classroom. At night, it becomes his pajamas. On weekends, it is his play clothes. When he sleeps, he sleeps in that uniform, because it is the only set of clothing he owns that is intact, that fits, that doesn't bear the marks of extreme poverty.

His daily wear at home should be something else—something soft, something just for relaxing. But poverty doesn't allow for extras. There is no drawer full of options. There is only this one uniform, given through your support, that serves every purpose: school, home, sleep, life.

Because of you, this boy was put under our care and program. Because of you, he receives not just an education, but meals,new clothes ,guidance, and the knowledge that someone out there believes he matters.

He now not wears his uniform everywhere, but because of you we provided him with new clothes.

As the cold weather settles in, we are reminded of the children who need our warmth the most. We recently launched our "60 Children 60 Blankets" initiative with a simple but profound goal: to ensure every child in our care has a warm blanket to call their own.

For most of us, a blanket is just a piece of fabric. But for the children we serve—many of whom come from families living in extreme poverty—owning a new, warm blanket is a distant dream. In their homes, buying a blanket is a luxury that must be sacrificed for food. This winter, we wanted to change that. We wanted to give them the comfort of a good night’s sleep and the security of warmth.

Thanks to the kindness of supporters like you, we have managed to collect the first 10 blankets. These have already been placed in eager hands, bringing smiles and warmth to ten beautiful children.

However, our hearts are heavy for the 50 children still waiting. They see their friends wrapped in warmth, and they wait patiently for their turn.
