Feed Families Facing Hunger in Uganda's Karamoja

Across Karamoja, prolonged drought and crop failure have left many households with dangerously limited food supplies. Families who depend heavily on agriculture are particularly vulnerable because the loss of crops also means the loss of income and the ability to purchase food.

This project will provide emergency food assistance to families facing acute food insecurity while supporting vulnerable children and pregnant mothers with essential nutrition. At the same time, we will introduce climate-smart farming assistance to help households rebuild their livelihoods and strengthen their capacity to withstand future climate shocks.
