The effects of prolonged drought and crop failure extend far beyond the loss of a harvest. For families living in poverty, food shortages can threaten children's nutrition, maternal health, household stability, and the ability to recover economically.
Our project will respond by providing emergency food assistance to vulnerable families and targeted nutrition support for children and pregnant mothers. We will also help households strengthen their livelihoods through climate-smart farming approaches that can improve food production and resilience in the face of changing weather patterns.
Your support can help protect vulnerable lives during this difficult period while creating opportunities for families to become more food secure in the future.
Every donation brings us closer to a Karamoja where children can grow nourished, mothers can thrive, and families can face the future with renewed hope.
