By Skye Kelly | Executive Director

Happy New Year!
Heal One World has expanded nationwide being virtual has been an exciting new adventure!
We held our New Year's Workshop over three days and had Meditation, Tai Chi, Reiki, Self Hypnosis, Yin and Power Yoga, Dance Nutritional Healing and Breathwork. It was a wonderful way to set off the new year with new intentions!
We have a large number of new classes starting and will be offering weekly workshops and special events. We even have a class bingo sheet where participants can try a number of new classes to earn a reward by the end of the month.
We still have our Los Angeles studio and are hoping to reesume in person classes once it is safe to do so later this year.
In the meantime we plan to organize outdoor classes as well where it is logistically and weather possible!
We begin our planning for the 2021 Awareness Film Festival shortly!
Thank you for supporting Heal One World.

Remainging grateful and graceful in stressful times! These are very challenging times in our world, we have not been able to offer in person classes in March, but we are expanding our virtually offering and holding outdoor classes for seniors at their senior center in Downtown Los Angeles. As we continue to be open to new ways of connecting- we have been adding new teacher from around the world to our zoom online class offerings.
We have mindfulneess classes as well as Lucio offering his Reiki with meditation. We are introducing more Trauma informed yoga classes (for veterans and others with PTS issues). We have our Spanish instruction class every Wednesday with Rosa. Our gentle classes have been very popular with senior citizens from around Southern California. We also have our Tai Chi and Self-Hypnosis classes. These are free for all people at any location to take part in. Thank you for supporting us through this time, we plan to keep our virtual offerings even as we hope to return to in person classes in the future, so far we are able to keep our studio in Mid City Los Angeles, but appreciate the support and hope we can hold onto our home of ten years!
Looking forward- Awareness Film Festival put on by Heal One World is on for 11 days, Octobeer 1st to the 11th 2020- filled with days of incredible films- from the World Premier of Calibrate to the LA Premier of Seeding Change, there are films for everyone. The festival can be enjoyed by the day, weekend or the whole festival by passes. This also gives you access to special classes and workshops at "Zen Den", On demand films (We are showing 120 films!), Live Premieres with Director Q&A's, Over a dozen panels and workshops. This is a fundraiser for Heal One World so please attend if you can, we also have our classes available during the festival at Zen Den!

Learning to Provide Holistic Healthcare Online
By Skye Kelley | Executive Director
Welcome to our virtual world! The COVID-19 pandemic has given us the opportunity to come up with new ways to connect with our clients, and we have risen to this challenge by creating an array of livestream virtual classes via Zoom. With this online platform, we are able to offer classes to those near and far, expanding our community beyond its usual reaches—outside of Los Angeles and beyond! It has been a great pleasure to continue serving people during this difficult time.
We are able to hold all the following classes online: beginner yoga, yoga nidra, reiki, cardio boot camp, restorative yoga, tai chi and meditation classes. We also held two special workshops—one about the health benefits of dancing and one about the health benefits of wine/antioxidants along with yoga and deep breathing.
Additionally, we will be hosting the annual Awareness Festival as a hybrid virtual/live film festival event in October. Going online with this project will also allow us to reach more people and spread more awareness about pressing issues in our country and the world. We look forward to being able to adapt and serve the community with love in whatever capacity we are able—in person or online!
