It is another new year! We would like to thank you all for your generosity, your involvement in the lives of the vulnerable girls has brought a great achievement and there will be never words enough to express the joy we see on their faces.
Last year was a difficult year here in Kenya but we humbly thank you for each and every support towards our programs. You made us proud because despite the up and downs our girls remained in school. We didn’t have many distributions because of we didn’t have enough kits to visit many schools but we were able to distribute 600 kits to three schools. The admissions were high and therefore we could not visit more schools.
There is a big problem is day secondary schools, and this is because the parents to these students cannot afford to pay school fees and at the same time meet their basic needs. The biggest problem being sanitary pads and underwear. Every kit has two panties and this makes the girls smile, it is hard to believe what we see when we are giving out these kits. The kits make the girls smile and we can assure you, that you are making a big difference giving the sanitary kit to these girls. It means a lot to them.
We are almost ready to do our distribution this year, the high school admissions are going on and we will start our distribution next month when the new students have settled in.
Once again thank you for the wonderful work you are doing in the lives of the needy and vulnerable girls. Together we can make a difference.
