Growing Confidence in Maths, One Learner at a Time
What does progress in Maths look like?
Sometimes it is a better result. But teachers tell us it is also a learner becoming more confident, choosing to try again, asking for help or discovering that Maths can actually be enjoyable.
In our 2026 teacher survey, educators shared what they are seeing as learners use Green Shoots’ Maths Curriculum Online (MCO).
“It makes learners more excited for maths.”
“It gives Learners confidence.”
Teachers see learners practising independently, learning from mistakes and trying again to improve their results.
“Learners get to practice on their own and then come for help with concepts they do not understand.”
And while learners are growing in confidence, MCO is helping teachers see where support is needed. Instead of waiting until much later to discover that a learner is struggling, teachers can use MCO results to identify difficult concepts and respond.
One teacher explained:
“It helps me track how my learners are performing and how well they understand the concepts that they have been taught in the classroom, it also gives me an insight on which topics will need to be re-taught, and also which group of learners I need to target.”
This is what your support helps make possible: giving more learners opportunities to practise Maths, experience success and build confidence, while helping their teachers provide the right support when it is needed.
Every Brain Quest completed is an opportunity to learn. Every mistake is an opportunity to try again. And every learner who begins to believe “I can do Maths” is progress worth celebrating.
Thank you for helping us keep Maths learning growing.
