Pachacamac is one of the most vulnerable districts in Lima, with a high rate of stray animals, so help is urgently needed. In that context, in recent years we have conducted spay and neuter campaigns in Las Flores, a vulnerable settlement in Pachacamac and last month we successfully neutered/spayed 107 dogs and cats, which represents an important step to reduce stray overpopulation in an area with limited access to veterinary services.
Working in communities like Las Flores is crucial, as many families live in poverty and cannot afford to spay/neuter their pets. Through our efficient altruism methodology, we seek to generate a long-term impact to reduce animal overpopulation.
While we have achieved great results so far, the work doesn't end. There are still thousands of animals in need across Peru, and we need your help to keep going.
Support our mission and help us bring accessible spay/neuter campaigns to more communities in 2025. Together, we can break the cycle of suffering, one surgery at a time.
