In the last two months we have expanded our spay and neuter campaigns to a new area of Peru: Manchay, a highly vulnerable town located in the district of Pachacamac (Lima), due to the poverty of its population and the high rate of animals roaming the streets.
Therefore, in order to tackle this issue, we recruited a local veterinarian to start the campaigns for the animals that need it most, and to date we have been able to spay/neuter 43 dogs and cats.
With our intervention in Manchay, we have already fixed more than 4,000 animals so far this year in Peru. We aim to neuter/spay 100 animals in Manchay and with a donation of $20 from 57 people, we can reach our goal.
We count with your help to give a better quality of life to all the dogs and cats in need!
