Dear Global Givers,
We are excited to share a comprehensive update on the remarkable progress of our ongoing project to ‘Help to Feed Hungry and Malnourished Children!' Your unyielding support has played a pivotal role in shaping a brighter future for these vulnerable children living on the streets of the Jama Masjid area, New Delhi.
Since its inception, the project through your support has embarked on a mission to provide nourishing meals to 100 street children daily. These children, facing dire circumstances, find themselves devoid of regular meals, proper sanitation, and access to healthcare. With your generous contributions, we have set a positive trajectory toward uplifting their lives.
In the last quarter, our efforts have led to an astounding distribution of 24,481 meals to the street children. This consistent support has addressed their immediate nutritional needs and laid the foundation for improved overall health. On a daily average, we served breakfast to 96 children and provided lunch to 98 children, underscoring the sustained impact of our initiative.
Our approach to nourishment emphasises both variety and nutritional value. The breakfast menu, carefully designed with children's preferences in mind, includes options like Macaroni, Egg Parantha (Fried flat bread), Sabzi Puri (vegetable and whole wheat flat bread), Bread Pakoda (Fritters), and Bread with Jam and apple, served with tea. Lunch, a cornerstone of their daily nutrition, incorporates nutrient-rich meals such as Veg-Tahri (Vegetable rice), Daal Chawal (Lentils and rice), Choley (chickpea) with Rice, Egg Curry, Kadhi Pakoda (yogurt-based curry fritters), and Rajma (kidney beans) with Rice.
A hallmark of our initiative is our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Rigorous quality checks involving visual inspections and taste evaluations by trained staff members ensure that each meal meets our stringent standards. Regular feedback sessions with the children and constructive communication with our food vendor have been instrumental in enhancing meal quality over time.
Throughout this journey, we encountered challenges, including managing conflicts during food distribution due to adults' involvement. Our team's dedication has empowered us to mitigate such situations effectively, keeping us focused on our mission. Engaging with the community has provided profound insights into their struggles, motivating us to work collaboratively towards holistic solutions.
We extend our profound gratitude to each of you for your unceasing support. As we continue to forge ahead, let's remain united in our commitment to creating a positive change in the lives of these deserving children. Together, we are making a lasting impact and nurturing a brighter tomorrow.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Team iPartner India
