Balajothi’s dream home is taking shape and WE THANK YOU DEAR DONOR for making this dream come true with your generous contribution of $4427.18 to date.  This is Balajothi’s flagship project and needs funding to the extent of $75,000. 

To begin with a secure habitat has been secured. All the requirements for residential accommodation are being added as and when funds come in. Balajothi seeks your continued support to this great and noble effort to start a home for the homeless disabled children.  Please share this unique project with your friends who in turn can share it with their families and friends.  Such a dream can neither be realized by a single individual nor can it be completed within a specific time frame.  You are well aware of the saying that ‘Rome was not built in a day’ and so too our dream project will take shape slowly but steadily.  THANK YOU DONOR for making this happen!!  We are striving our best to make this Home a Dream Home for our special children who will not lack any thing for their life here. Balajothi Centre for the Disabled is a registered charitable trust, founded in the year 2004.  It is not a religious trust. Its doors are open to  intellectually challenged children from disadvantaged families, irrespective of religion, caste, creed or community. Dear Donor, I want to share with you a write up which highlights the importance of the love we show to orphans.

Robin Xavier (name changed) entered the London Hospital Medical school in 1865, dreaming of life as a medical missionary in China.  Xavier soon discovered a desperate need in his own front yard – the many homeless children living and dying on the streets of London. He decided to do something about this horrendous situation.  Developing homes for destitute children in London’s east end, Xavier rescued some 60,000 boys and girls from poverty and possible early death.  Today we might call him the patron saint of street kids.

With this as our mission, Balajothi has launched, on a very small scale, a home for homeless destitute and disabled children.  We aim to provide education, training and rehabilitation to these intellectually challenged children for as long as they wish to stay with us. Venkatesh (name changed) is happy and contented as he enjoys the facilities of the childrens’ home.
