Treatments Lead to Adoptions

Dear Friends,

As our ongoing work to help Homeless Animals get the help they need and deserve, we are so thrilled to be able to get these animals adopted into great homes. Using our adoption partners in Europe and our founder Nancy in the USA to screen homes, these once hopeless animals have new lives.

This report will feature 2 of our recent patients.

Mira was living outside a USA military base near Brasov. Matthew was stationed there and fell in love with the infant puppy. Once Matthew was back in Spokane, he tried to find a way to get little Mira to him. After contacting numerous vets and charities, Matt contacted us. RAR was able to help Mira as she was delivered to the Center of Hope where she lived for over a month and received her vaccines, health certificate, tests for diseases, worming, deparasiting and good nutritious puppy food. And lots of love and socializing. Following her quarantine period, she was able to fly to her new family! Matt covered all costs for Mira as we use our donations for those who have no one. Thanks to your support we have the infrastructure in place to be able to treat puppies like Mira.

Morgan was a sad case, living on the streets for his entire life of 4 years. Our volunteer Catalin found him with a broken leg. Morgan arrived at the Center of Hope. In addition to his broken leg, he was suffering from a skin infection. Morgan needed surgery with pins, plates and screws to set his leg properly. He is currently living and being cared for at the Center of Hope while his leg heals. He was also neutered as part of our standard protocol.

The best news for Morgan is that our friend Anne from Oregon fell in love with him and will give him the loving home he never had.

These stories brighten our days and nights! And your donations make this all possible so that we can say "yes we will help" when asked. Your continued support is needed so that we can change the fate of the abused, neglected, abandoned animals. We also found a loving home in Germany for Natasha from Ukraine as well as helped 47 Ukraine kitties get veterinary care and spays and neuters.

Greetings Friends,

Here is the latest report from our Homeless Animals Hospital Project:

Starting with the best news.....RAR has now achieved 100,646 spays and neuters! The saying goes "Spay One Save 100". The impact of over 100,600 spays and neuters is tremendous to stop the suffering before the animal is born!

So much work to do. Adding help for Ukraine animals has increased our busy work load. We are currently providing free veterinary treatments, spay/neuter, microchips, deparasite, vaccines and health papers for the animals in neighboring Ukraine. 33 cats and 4 dogs arrived in a van for these treatments. Another elderly boy came to us from the streets of Odessa where he had been shot and hit by a car. War is Hell for everyone and a nightmare.

In Romania, we have been inundated with parvo puppies. This relentless disease can be a death sentence if not properly treated. We offer vaccines as prevention but that does not help the pups who already have succumbed to this dreaded disease. There are also the many patients brought from the streets, forests and fields with extreme injuries, all needing the free service we provide thanks to your support.

Children came to Center of Hope where they were given an interactive tour as well as educational booklets about animal welfare. It was a fun day for all! Planning for the future vets!

Mama cat was brought to the Center of Hope with massive internal injuries. During surgery it was found that she was pregnant, but 2 kitties were dead. Then the surgeon saw something moving in her bowels. The Miracle Kitten was still alive! Now reunited with mama after a long ordeal.

Meet Hugo and others you have helped

Hugo undergoes treatment for his injuries

Dear Homeless Animals Hospital Supporters,

As the Holidays are upon us, we would like to present to you just a few recent cases that you have allowed us to treat with your generous support. We hope you have a wonderful Holiday Seasan and Happy 2022.

Meet Hugo. Hugo needed our help to be able to walk and wag his tail on Christmas day . He is a puppy brought in with terrible wounds and fractures. He received first aid, medication and his bones were set for proper healing.

The kind boy came to Center of Hope with a kitten he found limping and starving on the streets. The lad had no money to pay for examinations or treatment of his tiny friend, but had heard that there is a clinic offering free care for strays and brought the kitty on his pillow to us for help.

Kindness and compassion presents itself at all ages. This elderly pensioner found it in her heart to rescue a kitty from the slum area outside of Bucharest. She could not afford to treat the kitty when she succumbed to illness and brought her to the Center of Hope. The kitten recovered and is now home for the holidays.

At Homeless Animals Hospital project we are inundated with street animals that arrive with fractures. This little puppy came to us with numberous fractures. Such a sweet little soul who needed someone to help. We were there for him.

Little Tulip will round out this update just to put a smile on your face! She is recovered from her fractured leg and is home with her rescuer.

Your help is vital for us to be able to provide care for Hugo and hundreds of souls in need.

Thank you for your donations that help us provide this care. And as always, thank you to our national and international rescue partners who find adopters for the homeless souls we treat. Together we are changing the fate of hundreds each year.
