As Ukraine continues to face the prolonged consequences of war, the project remains committed to supporting the psychological well-being, social integration, and personal development of vulnerable groups — especially children, displaced families, and marginalized communities.
Key Achievements:
Children affected by conflict have received psychological support through individual counseling, group therapy, and structured recreational activities in safe and nurturing environments.
Professionals working with war-affected populations — including educators, social workers, and psychologists — have gained new skills through specialized training in trauma-informed care, child protection, and emergency response.
Adults at risk of exclusion have received career counseling, life skills training, and personal development support to improve their social and economic integration.
Community events and support groups have been organized to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma around psychosocial challenges.
Challenges:
Access to mental health services remains limited in remote and frontline areas due to a lack of qualified specialists.
Educational and psychosocial needs among children continue to grow, while current resources remain insufficient to meet the demand.
Coordination between civil society and government actors still requires improvement to ensure comprehensive and standardized service delivery.
Next Steps:
Scale up mobile psychological support and outreach programs to reach under-served regions.
Develop and implement structured educational and psychosocial modules in schools and community centers.
Advocate for systemic investment in mental health and social support infrastructure.
Strengthen partnerships to ensure long-term sustainability and professional development for frontline responders.
Conclusion:
This project has played a crucial role in creating safe, supportive environments that foster healing and empowerment for those affected by war. Continued focus on psychosocial recovery, inclusive education, and institutional cooperation will be essential to ensuring lasting resilience and social reintegration.
