Respected Donors,
Seasons Greetings...!
We would like to bring to your attention the critical initiative undertaken by the Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) aimed at improving the livelihoods of impoverished women in Tharparkar, Sindh. Tharparkar is a remote and arid region far from major cities, where many women suffer from malnutrition and severe physical weakness. This dire situation often leads to the birth of malnourished children who face high mortality rates due to diseases and inadequate nourishment.
Despite the significant need and the passage of considerable time, this project has unfortunately not received substantial support from international donors. Nevertheless, CHCS remains steadfast in its commitment to this cause, continuing the project with the generous contributions from local donors. Our primary intervention involves providing goats to these disadvantaged women.
These goats are a lifeline for the women and their families. They supply much-needed milk, which is crucial for the nutrition of both women and children. Moreover, since goats typically breed twice a year, they offer an ongoing source of income through the sale of offspring. This enables the women to better support their families and work towards a more sustainable future.
We earnestly appeal to donors worldwide to support CHCS in expanding this vital project. Your contributions will allow us to provide more goats to the needy women of Tharparkar, Sindh, thereby enhancing their nutrition and economic stability. Your generosity can make a significant difference in the lives of these women and their families, helping to break the cycle of malnutrition and poverty. Thank you for your kind support and consideration.
Regards, Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah
