You Helped Them Graduate from High School
By Alara Aydar | Program Assistant
Our dearest donors,
Thank you very much for your continued support for girls’ education in Turkey. Your generous donations continue to send girls to school. We would like to give an update on these young women. Your past donations helped them graduate from high school.
Bahar, Berivan, Ece, Gamze, Gizem, Mujdan, Pelin, Rumeysa, Saniye, Sirin Gul are some of the girls you have helped graduate. This year, your continued support will send these young women to college.
All the girls you have supported for the past 4 years thank you for your contributions but ask that you don't give up on them and their future.
They are still at the beginning of their journey and still need your help.

For a Better Future
By Alara Aydar | Program Assistant
Our dearest donors,
Thank you very much for your continued donation to our project. Your generous donations continue to send girls to school and continue their education.
34% of women in constitutes workforce in Turkey, by far the lowest of the 35 industrialized countries of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) where the average is 63%
As you can see from these numbers, we have a long way to go. We need educated young women so that they can take their place in the workplace and contribute and also give back to their community.
A study by the consultancy firm McKinsey found that if women's participation in the Turkish workforce increased to the OECD average, it could boost the country's economic output by 20% by the year 2025.
Let’s help these girls get the education they need to take their place and give back to their community. With your support for this project, we were able to send more girls to school.
Thank you!

Thank You for Making Our Girls' Dreams Come True
By Deniz Karafazli | Program Associate
Our Dear Donors,
Thank you for your continued support! We have an update from Aysenur and Dicle- some of the girls you are supporting.
"Hello. My name is Aysenur. I have an older sister who is in high school and a younger brother who is in elementary school. My father has a seasonal job and is having difficulties meeting our school expenses and providing for us. I want to have a good education and become a doctor. Thanks to your support, my dream of becoming a doctor is possible."
"My name is Dicle. I'm in high school and I'm trying to continue my education on my own since my father has passed away. I have an older brother who is in college and my mom sends all the money she makes to my brother. I have a younger sister who is in elementary school. My mom is working hard to send all of us to school. I'm happy to have your support because without it, I could not cover my educational expenses."
Thanks a million for making these girls aspirations possible. Your donations make the most impact in the lives of these young women. Aysenur and Dicle are now able to continue their education but there are more girls that still need your help.
Keep supporting this project !
