Our girls are thriving!

Our Dearest Donors,
Thank you so much for your continued support for girls’ education in Turkey. Your generous donations continue to provide educational opportunities for many students like Aysegul.
Aysegul is from Keles Province in Bursa. Her mother stays at home, while her dad works in the village as a labor worker when he can. Aysegul has dreamed of becoming a lawyer for years. She feels very grateful to be receiving a scholarship to start her university studies in Law. She would like to thank you,
“Without even knowing me, you have given me this opportunity to transform my life from a village girl to a future lawyer. I promise, in the future I will do everything I can to support girls education.”
Aysegul’s story reminds us of how great it feels to see young women like Aysegul following their aspirations.

Our dearest donors,
Thank you so much for your continued support for girls’ education in Turkey. Your generous donations continue to provide educational opportunities for many students like Serife.
Serife’s is a 3rd year student at Istanbul Saglk Bilimleri Üniversitesi studying a relatively new field, Speech Therapy. Her family lives in Bursa while she stays in a student dorm in Istanbul. Because of her scholarship through CYDD & TPF, Serife is able to follow her dream studying the characteristics of languages around the world. Her goal is to advance her English, to be able to educate herself with English articles about speech therapy on topics that have not yet reached Turkey.
She aspires to learn as much as she can and pass on the information to her friends and family that are not so lucky to be studying in University. She is very focused to learn as much as she can with hopes of bringing speech therapy to the public, and supporting the people of Turkey after graduation.
Serife’s story reminds us of how great it feels to see young women like Serife following their aspirations.

Here is an appreciation letter from her (translated into English):
First and foremost, I would like to thank you very much for providing me with a scholarship to continue my education. I come from Bursa, where my family makes a living by farming. Your support helped me continue my education at a university and in the future, will help me provide for my family with a better life. Most importantly, I will be able to become an independent woman who is confident with herself and her words. I am confident that all my dreams will come true thanks to your support. I am grateful for your generous contributions to improve my and my family’s life.”
