Dear Donors,
Thank you for your continued support to this project. With your donations, we have sent another girl to school.
Here is a letter we recently received from a scholarship recipient, Ilknur who is from Dogubeyazit, Agri.
“Hi, My name is Ilknur. I am in 9th grade at Van Ipekyolu IMKB Science High School (Gifted and Talented Program). I was able to get into this high school with a really high score and am staying at the school’s campus in a dormitory. I have four siblings and I am the oldest.
My father passed away four years ago. My mother is a housewife. Therefore, we have no income. I have been a very good student throughout my academic career and was ranked second amongst all the students in the city of Agri. My biggest goal is to become a brain surgeon. I would love to be beneficial to my family and give back to my community after I achieve my goal. Thank you very much for not leaving me alone in this journey.
Thank you for the opportunity to dream a different future, if not for your support, I would not be able to continue my education.”
We are extremely happy to see girls like Ilknur go to school and we would like to give more girls the opportunity to continue their education.
