The government of Brazil, after the rise of the new wave of Coronavirus, has again imposed various restrictions on some places in our city. The number of people infected remains high, in the State of Amazonas there are more than 160 thousand people infected, while in the Capital the situation is much more serious. Here the number of infections has increased by 65% and the situation of intensive therapies is increasingly critical, in fact hospitals are full and there are no beds.
The pandemic situation also affects our families, bringing job shortages and new difficulties in dealing with everyday life and everyday life.
We continue to support them in their path by adapting our ways of help.
We started to assist families in a virtual way and the group met to plan the actions to be carried out during social isolation. For example:
a) Telephone contact with families accompanied to listen to the emergency and to understand their vulnerabilities, emotional, financial and psychosocial needs.
b) Coordination to deliver food "Basic Baskets" to the needy;
c) Postponements and psychological interventions to alleviate the suffering of families in need.
d) Association with the "State University of Amazonas - UEA; Foundation Oswaldo Cruz - Fiocruz; Amazonas State Department of Health - SUSAM; Regional Council of Psychology CRP -20, for psychological assistance to the population affected by the Covid pandemic -19; Finally, we would like to tell you that it was done by phone, the "Monitoring of children" in the school path to see if everything is okay.
