She Almost Lost Hope - You Changed That

By Tina Moira | Project Leader

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for your continued support. Because of you, we are giving hope and a future to babies and toddlers who need it most.

When our partners first met this young mother, she was desperate for help. She knew she wanted to stay with her baby, but even before the birth, she had been struggling to survive. Now, as a single mother with no job and no family support, she felt overwhelmed and afraid.

Our partners stepped in immediately. They provided baby food and groceries for the household, and their social worker began visiting regularly. Through these visits, the mother received both psychological support and practical parenting guidance — something every new mother needs, but she had no one else to turn to.

Step by step, day by day, visit by visit, something began to change. She grew more confident. She started to believe she could care for her baby, offer love, and fight for their future. Soon, she will be joining a training class that will help her gain skills and find employment.

This is the heart of our work with our partners: supporting, listening, and guiding when it is most needed. We help families build stability and create opportunities for a better life — rooted in hope, love, and dignity.

Very recently, our partner Children’s Hearts shared beautiful photos from their toddlers’ club. This wonderful initiative supports mothers who want to work but have no one to care for their children. Thanks to you, these mothers are given a real chance to provide for their families while knowing their children are safe and cared for.

Your donations are truly a lifeline for these mothers and their babies.

Thank you for helping to change the lives of these children and families.

With gratitude,
ChildAid to Eastern Europe
